Merlex Auto Group is Hiring a Service Manager Near Arlington, VA

We’re looking for applicants with exemplary customer relations skills, strong service writer capabilities, and a love for collaboration to step into our next dealership service manager role. No day will be the same in our fast-paced auto service center! You must be ready to address customer concerns and oversee the service advisor in scheduling appointments for vehicle repairs. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee service team, auto service staff, and vehicle repair processes to deliver a positive service experience and maintain profitability
  • Ensure delivery of customers vehicles are on time
  • Work with the service advisor to ensure proactive resolution of all customer complaints and make follow-up calls, as needed
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all automotive service capacities to increase retention and referrals
  • Oversee all day-to-day job duties within the automotive service department with a focus on high employee and customer morale
  • Guide the management of all automotive service department paperwork, including repair orders, invoices, and maintenance records

Requirements:

  • Dealership Service Manager Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required - a bachelor's degree is an asset
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are necessary
  • Pass the required pre-employment drug and background screening
  • At least one year of experience as an automotive service writer or service advisor necessary; experience in automotive service management preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive technology, automotive service technician job duties, and automotive repair services is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year

Day range:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 10 hour shift

  • Driver's License (Required)
